Reflections - Tokyo Project

"Tokyo Metro"

After the project “Downunder Reality” in 2009-2010, which focused on the search for new realities through upside-down water reflections, I was looking for a new way to further explore the relationship between photographer, subject and public.
The new project “Reflection” started during a trip to Japan last November. Tokyo gigantism and its subway in particular, were so many persons transit without meeting, were the main inspiration. The project focuses on glass elements reveling opposing realities through the reflection of several layers. Each photograph is composed of several images superposed to reveal a new reality integrating one, two or even three different levels. The result is an ephemera encounter between many different realities and provides a unique and innovative vision.
